AMD seeded us with review samples, but we posted a review early by sourcing AMD's Ryzen 7 5700G in an HP Pavilion TP01-2066 system so we could strip the chip and get to testing, but the system configunot without modding it. i am looking at this option. basically the studs are too short and welded in place. so they would have to be drilled out, replaced with longer ones and rewelded. not sure how to go about htis, and if it is cheaper at that point to buy a 3rd cooler and get one with backplate that isnt 53mm this time. diptenkrom • 2 yr. agoThe 3700x will run up to 85c happily and will then start to thermal throttle ,and its max temp is 95c. My guess is you will get into the 80s running cinebench. If you do, this is only of concern if you do a lot of heavy processing tasks, if you are just gaming then it is no problem at all..
